Egmond – one of the hotels in Bruges, Belgium – is a wonderful place.

There are several rooms and suites with varying degrees of luxury.

The windows look on a quiet park which is rare for an ancient medieval town with narrow streets and standing close to each other toy houses. A cozy lobby with fireplace and around the clock tea.

Fun and friendly dogs. Two.

The breakfast room.

But it is on weekdays.
On Saturday morning at 9.00 a lot of local people come in the park to play something similar to small baseball only the bits are smaller and distance is ten times smaller. But they are rooting for the teams at full strength, cheerfull megaphone is broadcasting something in local dialect… and then comes the brass band…
Hotel Egmond in Bruges – great place for a quiet rest. On Saturdays you will be waking up with the brass band accompaniment.
